Picasso in the Memory

The workshop for the elderly “Picasso in the Memory” arises as the result of conversations held with various agents from the neighbourhood, in which the need was identified to widen the offer of this service for improving the quality of life, in a neighbourhood with a high percentage of elderly people.  In the museum, developing a project of memory for the elderly based on our collection allows us to extend the work of proximity that is already being carried out in the surrounding schools – in the district of Ciutat Vella-, now aimed at another target group, while at the same time letting us explore the possibilities of art as a training tool of the first order, at any age.
